Job Summary
- The Finance Executive provides support to the finance Manager and is expected to keep financial records and cultivate relationships with external regulatory bodies.
Job Description
- Recording and posting of daily transactions
- Attend to bank related activities
- Bank reconciliation statements
- Recording receipts and payments
- Assisting in handling company expenses and payroll systems
- Assisting in completing & submitting TAX and VAT returns
- Petty Cash Management
- Attending to bank related matters and any other assignment given
- Maintaining fixed assets register (schedule)
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts
- Assisting in processing and paying invoices
Job Requirements/Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Minimum of B.Sc./HND in a related field.
- Must be female and below 30 years.
- Must have at least 3 years professional experience with at least 1 year in Auditing, Control, Compliance in any financial institution.
- Experience in implementing policies and procedures, including process evaluation and documentation.
- A demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting and internal controls.
- Strong communication skills,both oral and written.
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Knowledge of Accounting software such as Peach-tree is an added advantage.
Note: An assessment test will be conducted before proceeding to the interview stage.
