Job Title: New Business Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
About the Position
- The New Business Sales Exec is a split role which means you’ll get lots of variety and a chance to try out two different areas of the business.
- This role spans across the teams to support where required.
- You will assist in the development of internal and client facing communications and presentations as it pertains to new business.
- The role is based in the Akowonjo office in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Sales look after customer relationships and bringing in new business whilst account management work behind the scenes to set up accounts, optimize them and then analyse performance and report back on them.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales in a New Business role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience with cold calling new businesses.
- Degree level qualification at 2.2 or above
- Excellent computer skills – MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced level).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills:
- Experience in talking to / presenting to a wide range of people
- Experience in writing emails / formal communication
- Analytical and able to understand technical products and concepts.
- Able to work quickly under pressure in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Bright, motivated and ambitious individual who is interested in learning about digital advertising and building a career with us.
Responsibilities
- As part of our New Business team you will be selling to top accounts and working with high caliber clients.
- You will execute on the account plan to deliver maximum revenue potential, through managing complete and complex sales-cycles; forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied customers.
- Helping to enter data to and manage our internal sales tracking system; sales force: entering sales, updating the pipeline, updating contact lists.
- Manage list of prospects and drive deliverables and outreach (in collaboration with New Business team and senior leadership)
- Manage the development of RFP responses and pitch work
- Ensure strong collaboration with all business leads, evaluating new opportunities and supporting in the development of presentations and communications
- Effectively communicate status of all assignments as defined.
- Working with our finance team to ensure clients are correctly invoiced.
- You will evangelize the Ruby Interactive vision through product demonstrations, presentations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives; presenting to C-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
Remuneration/Bonuses
- Ruby Interactive uses a standardized and equitable method to calculate salaries.
- Salaries are predetermined by a formula, which incorporates market rates, cost of living, candidate experience, and years with the company.
- They are standardized team-wide and are non-negotiable.
- This position is commission based, we’re seeking experienced candidates with a starting salary of N30,260 base plus commission structure with the potential of earning a minimum of N75,000-N150,000 each month.
Bonus Points for:
- Earnings Over Target.
- Highest Gross Earner.
