Finance Officer/Front Desk Vacancy in a Technology Consulting Company

Our client is a Technology Consulting company in Oniru, Victoria Island Lagos and is looking for a Finance Officer/ Front-Desk. 

This person will be responsible for maintaining the day to day Financial, Accounting, Administrative and personnel services in order to meet organizational requirements for our client.


JOB TITLE: Finance Officer/Front Desk


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

  • – 3 – 5 years’ experience
  • – Must have a degree, preferably in Accounting or related discipline
  • – Possession of ACA will be an added advantage
  • – Must have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • – Accounting software will be an added advantage
  • – Strong numerical skills
  • – Strong analytical skills
  • – Strong mental recollection
  • – Self starter
  • – Multi-tasking capacity


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • · Management Accounts Preparation
  • · Prepare month end accruals and prepayment journals
  • · Produce monthly management accounts; ensure accounts reconcile to nominal ledger
  • · Produce balance sheet and cash flow statement as required
  • · Analyse variances and explore potential problems with line managers. Make appropriate recommendations and advise on the impact
  • · Undertake forecast variance analysis at agreed intervals during the year in conjunction with budget holders
  • · Posting of daily transactions
  • · Monthly preparation of financial statement
  • · Monthly bank reconciliation
  • · Updates of customers’ statements
  • · Notify Management of defaults by customers
