Job Title: Test Lead – Functional and Integration Testing – Portal Applications
Location: Lagos
Engagement Period: 4-5 Months
Skill Expectation & Role Responsibility
- Competency: At least 6 years’ Testing experience in portal applications and overall experience 7-8 years in IT industry
- Experience in using and managing Test management suites like HP ALM, Selenium, Load runner Project management Tools, MS Project
- Experience in Liferay portal testing/development – Good to have
- As a Test Lead, responsible for drafting Test plan, Test cases, Test design, Test scenarios, Test result.
- Prime responsibility in test execution and getting customer sign off of Module testing, SIT [With customer environment] and UAT [With customer environment
- Lead a team 1-2 resources in performing above test activities.
- Should have previous experience in Testing, developing and design of Portal applications , Integration SOA middleware , ERP applications for Telcos or other Vertical industries
- At least 3 years’ experience with Telecom customers in testing
- At least 2 years of engagement Experience in develop/test portal applications
- Lead overall integration testing of portal application by liaison with Portal development team of company based out of India as well as collaborating with company’s onshore BA and architect
- Work in collaboration with customers testing team, deployment teams and IT project owners
Job Title: Project Manager – Portal Application Implementation
Location: Lagos
Engagement Period: 4-5 Months
Job Description
- Competency: At least 9 years IT project management and delivery experience with Tier 1 Telco, Banking Customers. Experience in portal application delivery
- Skill Expectation & Role Responsibility
- Should have 8-9 years’ project delivery experience with overall IT experience expected is 12-14 years
- Sound functional knowledge of Project delivery with certification on PMP
- Familiar with Telecom processes – CRM, Sales, Supply chain, ERP
- Experience in gathering requirements from client, implementing the solution and maintaining the environment for Intranet/Internet applications and making enhancements on a continuous basis, preparing training manuals and conducting training of end users on web based applications.
- Experience in Portal Technologies – Liferay, Sharepoint scripting
- At least 4 years’ experience as a project manager in Portal implementations for larger enterprise clients across all phases of the project life-cycle, including a global roll-out.
- Liaison with Test lead, Project manager, Portal development team of company based out of India as well as collaborating with company’s onshore BA and architect
- Work in collaboration with customers testing team, deployment teams and IT project owners
- The ability to manage software development with an off-shore development team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Leadership and strong team working skills.
- Setting and controlling the scope of the project
- Communicating status and vision to client management
- Delivering the project on time, on budget and within the agreed specifications
- Ensuring that the project team is following the approved project plan
- Performing the project financial management
- At least 5 years’ experience in managing project teams of 10+ FTEs, including being responsible for team staffing and performance evaluations of team resources.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills. Schedule and coordinate the company’s project resources based out of India to ensure right bench utilization and project profitability.
- Work along with company’s project team Technical architect, Business analysts, developers, Testers and business stakeholders managing overall deliverables of design, build, and test & deploy implementation of liferay portal solution, conforming to the clients Project Delivery Framework and default information security framework.
- Experience in using and managing Test management suites like HP ALM, Project management Tools , MS Project
- Be able to effectively scope out the work and provide accurate estimates
- Be able to manage the deliverables by self and others
- Self-motivated.
- Experienced in all phases of software life cycle like requirement analysis, designing, developing, installing, configuring and maintaining applications and project documentations.
- Excellent hands-on experience dealing with the onsite – offshore model and client interaction.
- Effective result oriented team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent and result oriented project leading skill.
- Client engagement to get more business for the organization.
