Ongoing Recruitment at a Newly Established Frequency Modulated (FM) Radio Station

• Assistant Head of News and Current Affairs
• Candidates must have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the management of news and current affairs in a broadcast station.
• Any academic qualification below 2.1 or its equivalent will not be considered.
• It is demanded that all applicants must, as a general qualification, be skillful in the use of computer software / applications relating to their duties.
• Applicants without this qualification need not apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least a First Degree or its equivalent in Mass Communication or English Language.
• In addition, they must possess evidence of training at the FRCN Training School up to at least the Intermediate level or its equivalent.

• Candidate for this position must have at least 15 years post-qualification experience in the management of news and current affairs for broadcast stations.
• In addition to having sharp eyes for news, candidate must possess proven experience in the management of newsrooms and in the grooming of news personnel.
• Any academic qualification below 2.1 or its equivalent will not be considered.
• It is demanded that all applicants must, as a general qualification, be skillful in the use of computer software / applications relating to their duties.
• Applicants without this qualification need not apply.

Qualifications

• Added to the above qualifications, candidate must have a Post-graduate Degree, particularly in Mass Communication or English Language and must be a consummate news hunter.
• Candidate must have attended, in addition to other certified training programmes, the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Journalism Courses at the FRCN Training School, Lagos or its equivalent.
• He must be able to report, write and present news and current affairs.

• Candidates must have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the broadcast industry.
• They must be masters of modern-day broadcast programming, production; and presentation.
• Any academic qualification below 2.1 or its equivalent will not be considered.
• It is demanded that all applicants must, as a general qualification, be skillful in the use of computer software / applications relating to their duties.
• Applicants without this qualification need not apply.

Qualifications

• In addition to the above, candidates must have at least a First Degree or its equivalent in Mass Communication and must also have attended specialised courses in the different areas with evidence.

• Candidates must have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the broadcast industry.
• They must be masters of modern-day broadcast programming, production; and presentation.
• Any academic qualification below 2.1 or its equivalent will not be considered.
• It is demanded that all applicants must, as a general qualification, be skillful in the use of computer software / applications relating to their duties.

Qualifications

• He is expected to possess full knowledge of the modern broadcast industry and be conversant with the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission Operational Code.

Qualifications

• In addition to the job experience specified above, the candidate must have at least a Masters Degree in relevant areas of the industry; plus an MBA.
• Candidate must possess a team spirit and a vibrant personality.

• Candidate for this office must possess proven knowledge of the industry with at least 15 years cognate broadcast experience.
• He must be a manager of people and facilities who is able to think and act under pressure.
• He must be professionally trained in programme conception, production and presentation with strong bias for creativity and elocution.

Qualifications
