Job Title: Emergency Contact Center Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Ultimately responsible for all ECC operations: coordination, QA, compliance to SOP’s, advisory and team integration.

Job Smmary

  • Monitoring random calls to improve quality, minimise errors and track operative performance;
  • Reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions;
  • Recording statistics, user rates and the performance levels of the centre and preparing reports;
  • Handling the most complex customer complaints or enquiries;
  • Organising staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand
  • Managing the daily running of the call centre, including sourcing equipment, effective resource planning and implementing call centre strategies and operations;
  • Liaising with other managers to ensure a seamless call centre operation regularly
  • Review reports from emergency call dispatcher per shift

Job Requirements

  • Medical degree from a reputable institution
  • Copy of current practice licence
  • Copy of Certificate for first aid, BLS, ACLS
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Analytical and pay attention to details
  • Proffers solutions through innovation
  • Result oriented and timely in response
  • 5-7 years’ experience in ECC operations
  • Sound medical knowledge


Job Title: Emergency Medical Dispatcher

Location
: Lagos

Objectives
  • An emergency medical dispatcher works from the dispatch desk where the personnel takes charge by alerting, deploying and coordinating ambulance crew/medics for ground ambulance evacuation while maintaining a realtime log of activities.

Job Description

  • Retrieves information from emergency call takers and transmits information to emergency service personnel on the ambulance and the receiving facility
  • Determine and assign the level of priority of calls received by emergency call takers and enter the into a computer aided dispatch system for radio/online dispatch purposes
  • Performs triage and provide pre-arrival instructions for emergency medical calls to victims or bystanders
  • Follows prescribed protocols(EMD) to provide medical instruction to callers during high confirmed emergency related events until ambulance crew arrives on scene
  • Monitor and track ambulance crew locations for smooth operations.
  • Maintains a positive customer service attitude always with the public, corporate clients, coâ€�workers and supervisor
  • Liaise with health care providers/ health facilities on condition of patient, expected time of arrival of ambulance and special equipment required to ensure readiness of health facility
  • Liaise with on call Doctor to ensure that ambulance crew receives adequate support throughout evacuation

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Nurse, Accident and Emergency Nurse, Paediatric Nurse
  • Copy of Certificate for BLS,ACLS,ITLS,PHTLS,PALS or ATLS
  • Knowledge on First Aid and emergency response
  • Background knowledge in emergency medical dispatch
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Good command of the use of English language and any other local language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer care skills
  • Good prioritising and triage skills
  • Ability to lead a team
