Job Title: Automation Specialist

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Prepare technical documentation for control Systems and Telecommunication material and services requisitions.
  • Implement Controls of Safety and Telecommunication Systems
  • Prepare Telecommunication systems functional specifications
  • Prepare Telecommunication equipment data sheets
  • Prepare Control and Safety Systems supply specifications
  • Prepare Advanced Control, Dynamic Simulation and Operator Training Simulator functional and supply specifications
  • Validate Vendor Control and Safety Systems functional design specifications and participate in detail configuration documents definition
  • Validate Vendor Control Systems and Telecommunication BOQs
  • Coordinate detail engineering activities and ensure proper installation drawings definition
  • Participate in F.A.T. activities and Vendor workshop
  • Participate in Site Acceptance Test, loop checks and functional checks
  • Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team
  • Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or its equivalent with 8 years relevant experience in the energy sector.
