We are recruiting to fill the position of: 


Job Title:  Industrial Trainee (I.T Personnel) 
Location: 
Lagos
Job Descriptions 

  • Connection and monitoring of network servers and updating of council’s intranet services.
  • Constant check of hubs, routers and switches Maintenance and repairs of faulty computers.
  • Assembles and installs PC hardware, investigates and resolves routine hardware and communications problems.
  • Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs.
  • General maintenance of computer systems, printers, photocopiers, laminators and other IT materials from ground floor to floor 18.
  • Understands and uses PC computers, including peripheral devices; understands and uses windows operating system; performs system administrative duties; installs operating system, PTF’s and application system software.
  • All other job functions as assigned by IT supervisor.

Candidate Requirements 

  • A good university degree or its equivalent
  • Age range: 26 – 34years
  • Ability to develop and work with project plans and schedules including associated cost profiles
  • Understanding of project reporting requirements of various stakeholders and ability to generate the same.

Proficiency and Skills: 

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Human Relation Skills
  • Attention to details and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Proficiency on desktop publishing (Microsoft office e.g MS word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint etc.)
  • Installation of software applications and programs.



Job Title: Project Planning and Development Manager
Location:

Job Description
 

  • The position is managerial and independent of daily supervision from line manager. This means that the position holder will plan and execute the tasks, and day to day work on an independent basis.

Responsibilities 

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

Requirements/Skills 

  • HND/Bachelor degree in Engineering and other related fields.
  • 2-3 years experience in project engineering.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
