Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Rotational warehouse duties required within the warehouse (goods inwards, imports, shipping).
- Check goods inwards from suppliers and worksites
- Locate stock into designated areas.
- Prepare items for shipment to worksites.
- Driving duties as/if required for local collections and deliveries.
- Book out equipment/spares to workshop personnel and to job sites.
- Participate in weekly 5S audits when required
- Pick items for shipping.
- Assist with cycle count and stock taking when required.
- Assist Warehouse Management with inventory reconciliation and inventory issues.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 5S activity.

Job Title: Inventory Controller
Location: Lagos
Job Description
This fixed term role, based in Norfolk, is part of the Materials team at one of our client sites, and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. Key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Present a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.
- Control the movement of materials from goods receipt to end user physically and electronically, using Excel spreadsheets and SAP systems.
- Store stock in designated locations, with awareness of level loads allowed in the warehouse storage areas and maintaining records and databases
- Input, retrieve and report data using the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and appropriate presentation style.
- Control traceability and shelf life issues for key materials.
- Liaise with customers, offshore facilities and other internal departments regarding materials movement.
- Interact with material controllers and warehouse coordinators on daily needs and issues.
- Ensure the safe use of forklifts and lifting equipment, including loading/unloading of vehicles in line with operating instructions and HSE standards
- Correctly store materials to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse and operating areas.
- Ensure all site health and safety requirements are adhered to, including PPE.
- Must be flexible to work additional hours as required and be available to work at other locations, this includes ASCO sites or ASCO client sites as required.

Job Title: Research Assistant
Location: Lagos
Responsibitilites
- The primary role is to support the experimental programs within the drilling department. This is a practical ‘hands on’ job and will include a wide range of different tasks including:
- Developing instrumentation systems using Labview or similar tools.
- Fault finding on existing equipment
- Procuring and preparing rocks, fluids and test hardware
- Developing experimental equipment, which could include anything from simple bench top experiments to complete full scale mechanical systems
- Specifying, procuring and commissioning sensors, instrumentation and test equipment
- Developing, Designing, Running experiments and making measurements in SGR and occasionally on field tests away from home
- Analysing experimental data using Matlab, Python or similar tools
- Interacting closely with colleagues in other disciplines.
Qualifications
- Practical skills, an innate curiosity, and a proven ability to learn new techniques and technologies are very important.
- Previous work experience in a research environment and experience with Matlab, Python and Labview would be advantageous.
- A good first degree or higher qualification in Engineering, Physics or Scientific discipline is preferred.
