Job Responsibilities

  • The candidate who must possess strong legal background with credible evidence will report to the Senior Partner.
  • To provide qualitative and astute legal advisory services in relation to the Firm and its business
  • Be able to incorporate companies in accordance with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) guidelines
  • Versatile with filing of annual returns and CAC search
  • Be able to organize formal meetings and take minutes
  • Handle Clients legal advisory services
  • Carrying out research on legal issues for the firm
  • Interface with external solicitors engaged to provide adjunct legal services to the firm
  • Perform other corporate services and any other duties that may be assigned to him by the Senior Management of the Firm.
  • Review and vet letters, agreements, security and other legal documents
  • Must be hands-on interpretation and application of Tax laws, Legal texts and statutes
  • Ability to handle pressure and work with minimum or no supervision

Requirements

  • LLB, BL with a minimum of second class upper division
  • 3 -4 years post call and NYSC relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player and good organizational skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and demonstrate high level of integrity with all stakeholders
  • Logical and ability to multi task
  • Analytical and lateral thinking skill.

Salary

  • Negotiable.
