Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Cement
Design and implementation of mechanical projects; responsibility for the quality, cost and time
Definition of design criteria and standards
Project execution:
Elaborate a design of production facilities
Elaborate or review bid documents and technical specifications
Evaluate tenders and select suppliers
Negotiate contracts
Follow-up and coordinate suppliers and construction work
Participate in commissioning and performance tests
Support and consult cement plants in the field of mechanical engineering for plant optimization and keep record and update technical documentation, drawings with CAD systems
Participation in internal projects and improvement initiatives
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum 10 years professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering and project management in the cement industry
Good investment market pricing knowledge and cost awareness
Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, as well as problem solving
Multicultural experience and understanding
Experience of handling projects in Africa
Willingness to extensively travel abroad
Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
