Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • The internship program is designed to provide real-world experience that is directly related to your academic discipline and career goals and provide you a better understanding of career options for your degree.
  • The following internship positions are currently available: Marketing, Sales, Commercial, HR, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Operations.
Components of the program include:
  • Hands-on experience working as a member of a specific department and team.
  • Assigned projects to accelerate learning of key functions/process.
  • Cross-functional departmental exposures within the corporate office.
  • Tours and exposure to other business areas (e.g., stores, distribution center) to ensure full understanding of the company structure and strategy.
  • End of program presentation of project findings, and recommended course of action to executives.
Requirements
  • Years of related professional experience: 1 – 2 years
  • Minimum of 2:1
  • Recent graduates can be considered/About to complete and/or completed NYSC
  • Proficient in word, excel, power point, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Title: Social Media Specialist – Intern
Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Our client, a Forward-thinking, fast paced FMCG company looking to hire a Social Media intern for a 6 months project.
  • This role offers the intern a total immersion into a busy organisation and the successful candidate will work closely with key members of staff, external social media consultants, and international partners to learn about social media and digital communications.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Education and Experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with key social media tools like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.
  • A basic understanding of online marketing
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Highly self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects efficiently with tight deadlines
  • Passion for learning and continue self-development
  • Extremely Strong Writing and Editing Skills (Journalism or English Major a plus)
Computer proficiency:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
