JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle general accounting functions of the organization.
- Prepare monthly and weekly cash budgets for approval by management.
- Handle general ledgers.
- Prepare monthly schedule of impairment of relevant assets per FIRS for approval
- Prepare monthly reconciliation report
- Reconcile employee’s accounts on a monthly bases.
- Prepare monthly schedule of fair values of relevant assets, liabilities revenue and expenses per IFRS for approval and posting
- Prepare monthly schedule of interest receivable for approval
- Ability to handle bank reconciliation statements and remittances.
- Review & submit accurate bank balances report to the management team as at when due.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in accounting or in a related course ((Must have done NYSC)
- 1-2 years’ experience in a reputable organization.Strong knowledge of general accounting practice
- Member of ICAN.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Knowledge of Advances Excel and an Accounting Software.
