Job Objective
To provide administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director and also assist the Executive Director make judicious and best use of his time by effectively dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities
Maintain efficient filing and record retrieval system
Screening telephone calls, enquires and requests and handling them when appropriate
Keeping of diary of appointments, meetings etc.
Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post
Dealing with correspondences.
Attending to routine administrative/secretarial errands
Organizing and attending meetings, producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Group Annuity ChampionLocation:
Lagos
Reports to: ED, Technical/Operations
Job ObjectivesTo aggressively drive the group wide sales of Annuity products using all the business channels.
The role holder is also responsible for top line and Bottom Line target/budget
Primary Interfaces
Internal:
Finance Units; Actuarial Services; Customer Service, Claims, Life Underwriting, Product Development
External:
Annuitants, Corporate Organizations, Agents, Groups/Clusters, PFAs, Co-operatives, HNIs, Retirees etc.
Responsibilities
Driving group wide marketing, trainings and sales of annuity products to targeted customers.
Actively initiate or participate in Product development, repackaging and customization based on customers feedback.
Chiefly responsible for the growth of annuity by 200% in the next 24months.
Providevarious market intelligence on annuity product s’ competitiveness, market share, optimize annuity products within the parameters/risk appetite set by the Board of Directors.
Developing product propositions; seeking buy-in of stakeholders across the business using business case and scenario analysis.
Leading the Group relationship management activities.
Identifying and establishing business relationships with groups/clusters with high numbers of potential retirees.
Re- evaluation and optimisation of existing products in the current market.
Drive preparation and the continuous revisions of proposals, presentations and trainings.
Drive monthly Annuity MPRs for Heads of all Business Channels.
Preparing and presenting Annuity report meetings and Monthly Performance Review meetings.
Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the Group Annuity budget.
Reviewing monthly/quarterly/bi-annually Annuitants’ pay-outs, change of addresses, Banks and verifications to determine their status
Providing leadership and strategic direction for business heads.
Developing product propositions; seeking buy-in of stakeholders across the business using business case and scenario analysis.
Monthly reporting/presentation of transactions including, but not limited to, commission reconciliation, financial projections, Profit & Loss monitoring, marketing activities, etc
Carrying out any other assignment that might be delegated by the line manager.
Requirements
Education:
First Degree
A master’s degree would be an added advantage.
Relevant Insurance professional qualifications.
Experience:
8-10 years’ experience in a similar capacity
Excellent knowledge of sales and training of Annuity products
Ability to drive organizational change in a large sales group.
Experience driving sales in a renowned PFA will be a huge advantage.
Job Title: Actuarial OfficerLocation:
Lagos
Reports to: Head, Actuarial Unit
Job ObjectivesTo support the delivery of a broad range of actuarial, financial and risk analysis services to the organisation, proffering rates, solutions and actuarial assumptions.
Job Summary
To support critical actuarial job functions. Role holder shall also support the management of internal reporting and actuarial valuation of life and GI businesses; manage relationship with appointed Actuarial consultants for valuations; product pricing.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with analysis of statistical information to estimate mortality, accident, sickness, disability, and retirement rates.
Assist with establishing internal reporting and valuation of policyholder liabilities; and asset liability matching guidelines and processes; and provide timely inputs to the Head of Actuary.
Support with determining premium rates required, cash reserves and liabilities necessary to ensure payment of future benefits.
Assist with the construction of probability tables for various events, based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information.
Administer insurance, annuity plans and determining financial soundness and calculation of premiums.
Assist with the determination of equitable basis for distributing surplus earnings under participating insurance and annuity contracts.
Work with operations team in the development of an underwriting quality program that addresses both the technical and subjective aspects of underwriting.
Support the development of product enhancements based on industry trends and performance of book while ensuring long term sustainability.
Support the management of annuity Portfolio Group wide.
Participate in the Reinsurance Program Review.
Other duties assigned by the line manager.

Person Specification
Skills/ Competence Requirements:
Skilled in actuarial valuation, performance analysis and reporting
Skilled in process analysis and improvement; Strong project management and reporting experience.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills and ease in interacting with all customers (internal and external).
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
Technical underwriting expertise to handle and review large and complex cases in a high volume environment.
Understanding of underwriting policies, guidelines practices and procedures, and has the ability to influence and champion changes to improve processes while maintaining mortality expectations.
Demonstrates good understanding of sales objectives and concepts of varying levels of complexity.
Understands documents such as policies, proposals, claims and financial reports
Must be at least an Associate of Actuarial Society.
Education and Experience
Good Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences
Professional qualification in Actuarial Sciences.
A minimum of 4 years in Actuarial unit or capacity.
Experience in any top Actuarial consulting firm would be added advantage.
