- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within Port Harcourt area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging our network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
- Plan approaches and pitches.
- Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a definite conclusion.
- Use a variety of professional styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Qualification
- Minimum of Master’s Degree or Second class upper first Degree.
Experience:

- Make sales projection for the organization and ensures targets are met.
- Build a database of potential clients and manage relationships
- Work closely with the general manager and executive director to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing hotel revenues.
- Would be responsible for full of occupancy of hotel rooms, conferences, and banquettes
- Evaluates and drives the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, market sales, event booking centres, electronic lead channels, etc.
- Provides positive and productive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets an example with personal booking goals).
- In charge of training and supervising of the hotel’s sales team
- Act as a brand ambassador representing the organisation at client events and tradeshows.
- Manage all sales & marketing related activities with the team: Revenue Management, PR & Communication.
