- A Master’s degree, ideally in business intelligence or general management
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience,
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to step back and analyze problems;
- An excellent ability to multi task
- Excellent management skills: Ability to coach, train and motivate junior staff
- 5 years or more of experience in the field of data gathering and analysis
- A field of expertise: By industry, by region or by topic
- An entrepreneurial spirit: Will to join an ambitious start-up company
- Full proficiency in English – Additional languages are a plus
- An interest for Africa and the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Management: Coaching, training, and evaluating analysts
- Client relationship: They are the primary point of contact of our clients, in charge of quality assurance, business development etc
- Expertise: They lead a team of specialists in a given field (by industry, by region or by topic)
- Managing a team: clarifying objectives, clarifying timeline, clarifying each team member’s responsibilities
- Managing projects: setting priorities, and budgeting time for each component
- Drafting proposals
- Account Management
Their performance is measured in terms of:
- Quality: delivering accurate, verified and reliable information
- Creativity and resourcefulness: ability to hunt the information using different tools with a focus on results
- Effectiveness: ability to work in a productive way (prioritizing tasks, staying focused,etc)
- Being 100% reliable and to deliver on time
- Attitude: Willingness to improve and learn on the job, coaching of other team members, and helpful attitude with other members of the team, proactivity when not assigned a particular task
- Prioritization and Time Management: Managing deadline expectations: intermediary deadlines, and final deadlines.
