General Position Summary
The Cash Transfer Programming (CTP)/Cash for Work (CFW) Program Officer is responsible for assisting in the implementation of CTP and CFW activities in the intervention communities of Ngala in Northern Borno State.
With support from the Senior Program Officer – Cash & Vouchers, s/he will supervise all projects, project selection and planning, project assets, local government and community liaison work, monitoring and payment.
The CTP/CFW Program Officer will report to the Cash & Vouchers Senior Program Officer and work collaboratively with fellow program and MEL staff.
S/He may also support other livelihood sector interventions including unconditional cash transfers, livelihood grants and VSLAs.
Essential Job Functions
Plan and ensure the effective implementation of CTP/CFW.
Contribute to all CTP/CFW related field work, including community mobilization, beneficiary identification/registration, distributions, and monitoring.

Support orientation for all new staff on CTP/CFW.
Report on any problems encountered in the field such as project participant complaints, local authority interference, and security threats to MC staff and activities. Ensuring the shelter strategy is periodically reviewed to reflect the evolving situation in country and progressively transitioning to more sustainable shelter solutions. This process should be done in close collaboration with the CCCM Cluster, beneficiaries and the host Government while bearing in mind the shelter needs of people upon their eventual return to their community of origin.
Ensuring that specifications, bills of quantities and drawings are produced in a technically sound and standardized manner. Establish monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure that works are implemented according to plans and completed within the designated timeframe.
Ensure that local communities and community relief committee have been consulted on all activities so as not to create unnecessary tension between the displaced and host populations.

Job Title: Gender & Protection, Senior Program Officer
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
General Position Summary
The Gender and Protection Senior Program Officer is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Protection sector activities including the mobilization of women’s groups, training on topics such as psychological first aid, and sexual and gender based violence (SGBV), and the validation of referral pathways in Northeast Nigeria Maiduguri (will focus on Ngala and Dikwa)

Essential Job Functions
Assist program officers to track program progress according to the developed schedule and work plan, including community mobilization, beneficiary registration, community sensitization and coordination in the target geographical locations.
Assist in promoting community participation including organizing for community meetings and inclusion so as to encourage community ownership over activities implemented and ensure equal representation of various community groups during implementation.
Conduct nutritional and hygiene promotion messaging to ensure the messages developed address the current knowledge and practices gaps, messages channels are in line with those most commonly used by the communities.
