Vacancy for Superintendent Pharmacist at a Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Company

A fast growing Manufacturing Pharmaceutical company based in Lagos, is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Superintendent Pharmacist

Location: Lagos

Qualifications

• B.Pharm or Pharm Degree from any recognized institution

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years experience as a full time Superintendent Pharmacist in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria

Competence Requirements:

• The Individual must have a working knowledge of product registration and import and export control requirements with regulatory agencies
• He/she must have working relationship & or dealings with NAFDAC especially in the areas of product registration and importation
• Be MS Office proficient & Computer literate
• Be willing to work as part of a team & able to work well under pressure with minimum supervision
• Must have good leadership qualities
• Must have good communication skills

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Registration of premises with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Registration of products with tho National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC)
• Facilitating contract manufacturing of products
• Coordination of tenders for healthcare supplies
• Liaising with bodies such as the Pharmaceutical Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN), National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Federal and State Ministries of Health, Customs and Excise Authorities.
• Interface with multilateral and Development Agencies such as World Health Organization (WHO), West African Health Organization (WAHO), United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), International Finance Corporation (IFC) & Centre for Development Enterprise (CDE) on Healthcare and Medicinal matters
• Other duties as assigned by Management & the Board
