Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Job Description
- The candidate would be charged with the responsibility of ensuring security is maintained and updated.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with certification in Management/Safety and Security operations and considerable post qualification experience of not less than 12 years in Security Services in a reputable Corporate Organization, 3 of which must be at management level.
- Candidates without a degree but with considerable experience and proven track record as officers in the Nigerian Armed Forces or the Nigeria Police are also eligible to apply.
Responsibilities
- Ensure security is maintained and updated.
- Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures.
- Investigate security breaches.
- Prioritize security initiatives.
- Manage the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Create workplace violence awareness and prevention programs.
- Conduct audits to find holes in security platform
- Identify security initiatives and standards.
- Develop emergency procedures and incident responses.
- Develop procedures to ensure the physical safety of employees and visitors.
- Create global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.
- Develop logistics to protect intellectual property, copyrights, and other related risks.
- Develop and initiate procedures to protect company’s fixed assets.
- Initiate safety measures to protect the lives and properties of a business unit.
