Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- To direct and manage the accounting and financial reporting operations of the company through proper entry of transactions in the books of account, timely processing of accounts payable and receivable and the preparation of accurate financial statements.
Job Description
- Preparation of local goods received note (GRN)
- Posting of credit notes and monthly journal
- Assist in the listing of fixed assets and asset register management
- Handling of Marine and Airfreight insurance of goods in transit and shipping documentation
- Assist in prompt preparation of Management Account on or before 5th day of the month
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Preparation of weekly receivables
- Monthly reconciliation of foreign banks account
- Reconciliation of foreign payables
- Management of General Ledger reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly journal
Qualification
- B.Sc Accounting/Finance (Minimum of 2.2) and must be a Chartered Accountant
- 5-7 years accounting experience
