Rossland Group – Our client, a Multinational company based in Port-Harcourt Rivers State, is looking to Employ the service of:

Job Title: Horticulturist

Location: Port- Harcourt, Rivers


Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Horticulture or Botany
• At least 3 years working experience in the related field.
• Residents of Rivers State or Willing to relocate to Port-Harcourt
• Screening and Selection will be done in our head office in Abuja
• Good Communication skills
• A good team player

Job Duties

• Leading the horticultural functions for the conservatory, show house and greenhouses
• Managing container plantings, annual display beds, and specialty gardens
• Greenhouse scheduling/ coordination, including system maintenance
• Lawn and turf maintenance and overall tree care
• Managing the entry and river front gardens
• Managing the irrigation, fountain and pond systems
• Coordinating the plant health and pest management program
