Job Purpose
- To ensure continued profitability and volume growth of the assigned brands through effective well-coordinated planning & prudent /innovative deployment of marketing and fiscal resources.
Experience
- Minimum of 12 -14years’ work experience in the Marketing function of a reputable company, preferably FMCG, with at least 4 years must be at Senior Brand Manager level.
- Experience in beverage/ alcoholic drinks industry is an added advantage.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- A postgraduate qualification in Marketing would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Accountable for setting up and delivering on growth objectives for the category you would be an assertive “growth enabler” who has a positive track record of maneuvering through the various challenges that faced the Nigerian markets last year.
- Monitor and report on brand performance/health in the Dairy category, using agreed attributes and format.
- Support the Commercial Director in determining the optimum pricing strategy for Dairy brands.
- Manage the category marketing budget to ensure execution of agreed programmes and implement corrective actions where required.
- Lead the preparation of annual integrated marketing plans to deliver business targets and agreed goals for all areas of the marketing mix for each brand.
- Leading the strategy development, NPD and consumer communication.
- Developing a clear vision combining all the factors of local /regional and global strategic initiatives you would generate the annual and three-year brand plans to deliver the business.
- Develop, gain approval for and execute annual activity plans across the marketing mix for each brand in the Dairy category.
- Ensure that sampling programmes are in line with the category strategy and supervise their planning & activation.
- Ensure core/major activities are evaluated and learnings captured for future brand planning.
- Use consumer insight to develop strategies from which the Company can grow its Dairy business.
- Ensure the availability of relevant market information.
