Job Title: Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer

Requirements & Experience
- The ideal candidate must have B.Sc /Master’s Degree in Engineering with hands on experience with Logistics, manufacturing, production and plant management.
- In-depth knowledge of building solutions
- Managing a field sales team of over 5 people.
- In Sales Management Process (SMP) to effectively analyse, implement and control the opportunities within territory
- Must come from an Engineering background and have engineering related qualifications held a Sales Engineering related job post.
- Experience in Sales Engineering, sales and marketing, experience understanding customer requirement, and providing tailored technical solutions, Petrochemicals, Food & Beverage industries will be a plus.
- 10 – 15 years’ technical experience.
- Good track record – selling in construction industry.
- Product knowledge of technical design services
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintaining them
The Role
- The Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer will be very hands on and will focus providing solutions for clients in the construction industry.
- They will create new client opportunities and display an expert knowledge of the industry by providing solution to new, and existing, clients.
- The BDM will effectively communicate with key decision makers in construction companies, develop and build teams.
- This will aim to attain specific sales objectives with attention given to customer and product platform development.
- The individual will be responsible for creating enthusiastic customers and build a better future by overseeing and growing a salesforce across the country, for the profitable attainment of the specific sales objectives, generating growth within the company.
Note
- This role will be based in Nigeria and open to candidates willing to relocate.
- The successful candidate must come from an engineering background.
