About the role
The post holder will work with the MEAL team to strengthen existing MEAL systems to allow for effective, accurate reporting for decision making and project implementation. To provide day-to-day management of the pilot global digital M&E database, inputting programme data and providing feedback to the technical team. To assess the capacity of Christian Aid partners, work with the team to develop and build capacity of partners and respond to technical support requests from staff and partners. Encourage active knowledge management and organizational learning needs using Monitoring and Evaluation findings and learning.
About you
You must have a degree in Statistics or any of the Social Sciences with at least two years work experience. Knowledge of relevant database systems and data management tools is essential. You are required to have experience of monitoring and evaluation, project/programme-cycle management approaches and tools – including participatory planning. You are required to be familiar with statistical software such as SPSS, Epi-info and STATA. The post holder is expected to have excellent report writing and communication skills.

Job Title: Monitoring Evaluation Accountability & Learning Assistant
About the role
The post holder will assist the MEAL unit in regular data collections through implementing partners/volunteers and ensure quality of the data by random verifications and validation. S/he will record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way. Provide technical support on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Program Officers and Partners. Support Program Officers and partners in conducting of field activities and adheres to CA’s monitoring and evaluation system. Participate actively in programme planning processes. The role holder will upload key reports to the Source (intranet) and assist the MEAL unit in designing, coordinating and conducting project evaluations (baseline, mid-term and end-line). S/he will support the team in developing quarterly/annual organisational reports and work collaboratively with different programmes for strengthening, integration and cross-learning in programmes.
About you

Job Title: Regional Human Resources Officer – Africa
About the role
We are seeking to recruit a HR professional to the role of Regional HR Officer to support our Country Programmes accross the Africa Division to enable them to deliver their strategy through effective people management. The role will be based in Abuja, Nigeria, as a member of a dispersed team with members hosted in different country offices. This role is recruited on a national contract basis.
Reporting to the Regional Head of People Africa, you will work within a global HR team to provide prompt professional customer service to Country Programmes, and in so doing, oversee the quality assurance of the outcomes in alignment with Christian Aid policies, labour laws and best practice. You will support the Africa HR Function to monitor implementation of work plans and report on the performance in critical HR areas to support the delivery of the people strategy, as well as develop and generate reports that promote evidence based decision making.
In this role, you will provide both transactional and advisory support to managers and country HR staff. You will be a key resource to the Head of People for the implementation of strategic interventions and projects. You will contribute to the improvement of HR processes to maintain the HR team’s excellent and efficient service. You will ensure that Country HR representatives are trained in the use of HR Systems.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to be quick, approachable and adaptable. You will demonstrate an appreciation of organizational corporate objectives and be adaptable to organizational culture. You will also possess demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service on a timely basis to meet business needs and openness to learning.
You are in possession of a qualification in a HR-related discipline or the equivalent HR experience coupled with a sound knowledge of Employment Law as well as HR best practice.
