The company is the brand owner of SolarDirect with the vision of putting solar on your rooftop. The company has installed solar for several small businesses such as barber shops, mobile phone chargers, schools, market stalls etc with the ultimate goal of displacing the small generators. It has the plans of rolling out 1 million solar installations by the year 2030 to create jobs among small businesses including agricultural value chain. Our unique selling point is to make solar affordable through leasing and rent-to-own financing scheme.

Job Description
- A high-performing Sales Manager that will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
- Will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- B.Sc /MBA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related fields.
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Highly adaptable
- Well – developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines
- Extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal
