We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Supply Chain and Quality Control Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria. Local and regional travel will be key.
Reporting To:Head of Supply Chain & Quality Control
Job Purpose
- The role is responsible for supplier relationship management, supplier vetting and ongoing performance management of key manufacturing partners. The role includes implementation, development and quality management systems including quality audits and corrective actions
- You will be required to work closely with the commercial and operational teams to implement strategic supplier side objectives including rate carding and manufacturing consolidation.
Key Performance Areas
- Manage adherence to client specific quality control SLAs.
- Identify opportunities for consolidation of supplier spend.
- Identify, resolve and escalate cross client manufacturing/production issues and or opportunities.
- Investigate, resolve and escalate day to day quality control issues.
- Sign-off of production items in accordance to specification.
- Ensure effective brief regarding supplier capabilities to relevant internal service partners.
- Take initiative for pro-active support to all relevant service partners.
- Identify supplier growth opportunities.
Key Experience Areas:
- People Management
- Marketing materials production.
- Marketing materials quality control.
- Familiarity with social, environmental and quality standards and audits. SA-8000, ISO 9001, ISO 140001 certification advantageous.
- Auction, e-bidding and traditional tenders.
Desired Skills & Experience
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in the relevant field.
