Job Title: Research & Development (Pharmacist)

Job Description
- Developing new products, basic research for expanding scientific knowledge and applied research for improving existing and new products.
- Manages and directs the research and development programs to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential new products.
- Oversees complex research projects, analyzes results and provides recommendations based on findings.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets related to Research and development.
- Development and management of the R&D Governance and Plans.
- Driving continuous improvements to R&D processes both internally to the department and outside business.
- Staying informed on R & D field at large in order to make sure the company is up –to-date and current with the most advanced Research trend.
- Developing prototypes for range of products based on company’s technology.
- Collaborating with medical professionals to run pre-clinical and clinical testing of prototypes.
- Document all phases of research and development from inception to completion.
- Handle research and development of immunoassays on manual or automated platforms.
- Investigate new technologies and novel biomarkers.
- Complying with the ever-changing government regulations standards requires of R&D so as to ensure all new and existing products meet the acceptable guidelines.
- Ensure constant checks to ascertain the quality standards of the products.
- Evaluate the product offered by the company to ensure its functionality.
- Resolve a problem with an existing product that malfunctions and find a new solution.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy (PHARMACIST ONLY)
- MBA Qualification will be added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Pharmaceutical sector.

Location: Lagos
Job Description
- To ensure the appropriate licensing, marketing and legal compliance of cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical products in order to control the safety and efficacy of products.
- Responsible for completing reports and applying for any licenses required for operation.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring manufactured products are appropriately licensed, produced and marketed.
- Negotiating with regulatory authorities for marketing authorization.
- Developing and writing clear arguments and explanations for new product licences and licence renewals.
- Ensuring that a company’s products comply with regulations.
- Providing advice about regulations to manufacturers/scientists.
- Providing strategic advice to senior management throughout the development of a new product.
- Writing comprehensible, user-friendly, clear product information leaflets and labels.
- Undertaking and managing regulatory inspections.
