A new internationally funded project to advance advocacy in child and family health in Nigeria has vacancy for highly motivated MPH graduates to join the project team in the capacity below:
Job Title: Senior Technical Officer (STO)
Location: Abuja-FCT
Job Description
The Senior Technical Officer will provide technical oversight and supportive supervision to sub-grantee NGOs in the areas of:
- Project management of a health policy advocacy intervention;
- M&E and Documentation;
- Organizational development of the implementing NGO and
- Participate in the review of activity budgets.
Requirements
Qualified candidates Must:
- Have a strong knowledge of Nigerian child and family health policies
- Hold a Master’s degree in Public Health or Health Economics
- Have experience working in the non-profit sector or development programming environment.
- Have experience in a Research or M&E position.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Also required are:
- Excellent English language writing skills,
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and time pressures and detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate records and information within systems.
- Duty post is Abuja-FCT (ONLY) with 10% travel to states.
