Job Title: Front Desk Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Offers administrative support across the organization.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Carries out other activities as may be determined by his/her hierarchy
- Notifies company personnel of the visitor’s arrival
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
- Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
- Maintains telecommunication system.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Customer service certifications are a bonus
- Strong communication skills
- A pleasant personality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High level of professionalism and ability to be discrete
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Multitasking and stress management skills
