AiMP’s mission is to raise change agents, apostles in the marketplace who facilitate change at all levels of society. AiMP is a strategic vehicle for nation building across the African Continent starting from Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos

Summary of Functions

• Ensure proper maintenance of asset register
• Prepare the Network’s monthly, yearly and program budget , monitor and prepare performance reports
• Reconcile bank statements
• Record and prepare account statements
• Sit on the Finance Committee
• Monitor and collect pledges
• Work with the COO to handle partner relations
• Ensure periodic financial statements are prepared
• Support the audit process and liaise with auditors and other relevant parties
• Other responsibilities as required
• Ensure tax returns are prepared and filed
• Effectively interface at all levels of the organization
• Assist with program planning and execution
• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department  and keep up to date financial records
• Maintain expense vouchers

 

Qualification, Skills and Attribute

• Excellent  communication skills and analytical ability
• Good organizational and time management skill
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Professional Qualification will be an added advantage

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of accounting software packages including Quickbooks
