Job Title: IT Asset Management Associate

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

In particular you will:

  • Manage the administration of IT hardware and software inventory, asset management, licensing and technical services (Repairs) contracts
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets up to and including the disposition of assets at end of life
  • Manage appropriate hardware/software requests
  • Validates all purchase orders for internal client hardware and software procurement, and maintenance agreements
  • Work with the procurement unit to negotiate terms and conditions of sale and warranties.
  • Responsible for compliance with IT asset vendor contracts
  • Implement procedures for tracking IT assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles.
  • Establishe desktop procedures for managing the day to day asset management process
  • Track and maintain an inventory of all equipment issued to Jumia personnel.
  • Deliver up-to-date equipment inventory lists and system data to the IT management upon request.
  • Coordinate licensing, maintenance renewals, and warranty repairs with third party vendors.
  • Maintain all non-user based IT equipment inventory, including network printers and IT components in conference and meeting rooms

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with procurement and front-line operational IT staff.
  • 3years of experience with IT enterprise asset management or information management
  • 3 years of hands-on information gathering, analysis and management reporting
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices

Job Title: JForce Head of B2C – Jumia

  • On each order, they place they earn a commission.  The objective through this network is to overcome e-commerce main challenges of internet access, how to place an order online and trust
  • Therefore, JForce is a key acquisition channel for new customers, partners, and sellers.
  • Finally, JForce program has the aim of empowering entrepreneurs and generating employment through the full support of Jumia established a brand. Jumia JForce team is there to lead the consultant network to grow throw marketing and commercial initiative.

Responsibilities

  • As Head of B2C, your responsibility is to coordinate J-Force activities and maximize performance across the various regions in order to meet the customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by ensuring that the company remains competitive and innovative
  • A share of your team will oversee onboarding and recruitment to bring every month new sales consultants.

In particular you will:

  • Build a trusted and prosperous JForce B2C channels
  • Optimize the onboarding process and strategize on improving sales consultant’s activation
  • Monitor the consultant’s management strategy
  • Manage the commercial performance of the JForce B2C consultants
  • Reach sales, recruitment, engagement, activation targets for B2C channel.
  • Deliver exceptional growth of agents’ database
  • Delivering engagement of agents’ database
  • Deliver strong activation rate of the database
  • Optimize JForce marketing budget to deliver highest growth
  • Weekly report on performance vs target and action taken during the week.
  • Lead B2C team of 4 to 9 FTEs
  • Propose innovative process

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of sales management experience, managing sales leaders
  • Capable of teaching the process for successful prospecting & closing new business, leading to consistent quota achievement
  • Evidence of successfully leading others to exceed measurable sales and revenue targets
  • Ability to both set strategy, manage sales quotas, and follow through on tactical implementation and execution of initiatives – an operator with vision
  • Demonstrated experience with “Consultative Selling” to identify and solve customer problems
  • Very knowledgeable with utilizing enabling technology (i.e. CRM applications) to drive process improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of web engineering experience at strong software companies
  • Solid knowledge in software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures and Object Oriented Design
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Experience with web-oriented technologies (Java/J2EE, GoLang, NodeJS)
  • Strong experience with ORM (Hibernate) and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of product development best practices, continuous delivery and testing (Version control, Unit-Testing or Continuous integration and delivery)
  • Passion to analyze and solve complex technical problems
  • Aware of Performance and Security topics on web development
  • Experience with Agile Methodology
