Job Title: Installation Offshore Operations Area Lead III – EXPAT
Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Rotation (8 weeks on/2 weeks off)
Main Functions
- Manage and administer offshore installation execution teams (on-vessel management teams).
- Responsible for offshore installation execution quality and Management of Change (MOC) technical endorsement.
- Responsible for installation vessel staffing. Key contact for offshore incident response case management.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:
- Controls Operations related expenditures, participates in the development of the Operations budget for equipment and facilities in liaison with management
- Carries out investigations into repetitive equipment failures, directing the collection of information and participating in specific equipment monitoring surveys.
- Coordinates the planning & execution of equipment overhauls.
- Reviews work of contractors involved in projects to ensure Corporation standards are being met.
- Prepares incident reports as required.
- Monitors, assists and advises to progress, or review, the development of trainees.
- Investigates requirements for plant improvement schemes.
- Reviews operational procedures and submits amendments for approval.
- Prepares evaluation reports for immediate subordinates and reviews those prepared by them covering all other staff.
Job Requirements
- 20+ years’ experience in construction or offshore installation support of oil and gas industry
- 10 years of offshore installation experience
- 10+ years’ experience in a supervisory position, preferable in an offshore platform. Familiar with maintenance work control, contracting, budgetary and cost control procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and common E-mail systems
- Fluent English
- Good interpersonal relation and managerial skills to analyze and solve problems onsite within his capacity.
- Should be able to handle offshore emergencies as an on-site team leader
- Exercises a high degree of discretion in deciding work priorities and uses initiative to resolve technical and administrative problems.

Job Title: Installation Advisor – EXPAT
Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Rotation (8 weeks on/2 weeks off)
Main Functions
- Serve as expert resource for Installation Coordinator to engage with for critical scopes of work.
- Will liaise directly with contractor’s technical organization.
- Provide senior technical support to offshore installation planning and execution activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop/evaluate T & I execution approach & equipment
- Participate in constructability reviews and contractor selection process
- Ensure Installation GPs and specs included in ITTs
- Provide technical input to tender evaluation
- Senior technical interface with Installation Contractor
- Review and approve Contractor installation plans & procedures with input from Execution Group, Engineering & Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS)
- Coordinate interface with Engineering Functions
- Participate in Risk Assessments and pre-mobilization reviews
- Evaluate nominated subcontractors as required
- Provide senior technical support as needed to execution team
- Serve as senior technical support to Installation Coordinator for Lessons Learned capture, Close Out reporting, etc.
- Provide valuable industry experience during the planning and execution phase of installation activities
- Participate in Critical Activity Reviews as required by project in the areas of Heavy Lift, Float-overs, Load-Outs, Diving, etc.
Job Requirements
- MS in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar degree
- 20+ years experience in Industry Experience with Contractor and / or Owner Organizations
- 15+ years’ Offshore project execution experience.

Job Title: Offsite and Utilities Engineer I

- Lead and/or support development of Offsites & Utilities projects for new & existing facilities for the Upstream, Downstream, Chemicals & Research businesses.
- Lead and/or support existing operations to meet reliability and energy objectives through assessment & modification of Offsites & Utilities systems.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support capital project development from stage 1 through commissioning and startup.
- Ensure the quality of work performed.
- Documents completed efforts such that others can leverage their work to enable efficient future similar efforts.
- Works effectively with partners and contractors in pursuit of efforts on the projects and assets they support.
- Identifies opportunities to improve work processes.
- Responsible for the design of Offsite and Utilities (O&U) equipment into project scope.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of design specifications while working with contractors.
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of closely related professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline
- Broad knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
