Job Title: Head Of Operation
Location: Lagos
Job Brief

  • We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations in a Real Estate Firm to organize and oversee the daily operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be task to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.
  • The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
  • Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Head of Operations or equivalent position
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
  • Married applicants only
  • 4years work experience in a real estate
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and various business software applications
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
  • Experience of site evaluation

Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.
  • If you are passionate about HR and highly efficient, give us a chance to meet you. We expect you to have knowledge of various HR functions. We want to see a committed and approachable individual and be impressed with your character and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective on-boarding plans
  • Overseeing employee health and safety procedures
  • Contacting applicants references
  • Explaining and providing information on employee benefits, programs, and education
  • Advising on company benefit needs or evaluating benefit contract bids
  • Covering all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements
  • Maintaining employee records and paperwork
  • Reviewing procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Overseeing social events
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management with situations of disciplinary action and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Requirements

  • Proven experience as HR officer or other HR position
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Encouragement to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Human Resources Officer or related position
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labour relations, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, further training will be a plus
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
