Job Title: Plumber Technician
Location: Calabar, Cross River State
Report to: Facility Manager
Job Description
- The Plumber is responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialisation.
- He performs the monthly Facility Inspection and submits all required reports to the Site Manager, as well as maintaining routine and required inspections of the relevant Systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance of plumbing pipes and fittings.
- Competent in: Simple Water closet, closed couple water closet, push valve water closet, urinary automation valve control, miser-tap & single tap, pressure-reducing valve, identification of various taps
- Carry out repairs and corrective maintenance without need for rework.
- Interprete and works from Technical plans and drawings.
- Proffer effective solutions to identified or reported problems.
- Troubleshoots and detects faults correctly and readily proffer right solutions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment during and after work.
- Identify correct PPE to use for different tasks, wear prescribed PPE at all times required and keep these in good condition.
- Know and follow processes for preventive maintenance of assigned equipment and carries this out with minimal supervision.
- Provides accurate time material and labour estimates and measurements for tasks arising.
- Able to identify and use the right tools appropriately. No record of missing or destroyed tools due to negligence.
- Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor
- Follow all rules, regulations and policies of AMFacilities and follow all directives from superiors
- Perform other functions as may be assigned by the supervisor
Skill Set and Profile:

- Trade Test certificate or any other relevant qualification

- Candidates should have Trade Test 1, 2, 3, SSCE and any other certificate of apprenticeship and minimum of 3 years experience.
Job Title: Porter
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Summary
- Reporting to the Assistant General Manager the porters welcome the guests and assist them during their stays.
Job Requirements
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
- Flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Must be able to stand/walk for several hours; bend, push, pull; lift 50 lbs
- Professional appearance appropriate for a Large facility
- Knowledge of the Area (calabar).
Qualification and Experience
- HND/B.Sc In related field, maximum of 2 years’ experience in similar position.

Job Title: Facility Management Supervisor
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Reports to: Facility Manager
Role Summary
- The FM Supervisor is responsible for assessing how successfully processes have been implemented, for judging the effectiveness of any achieved defined target levels, driving special projects, inspecting site at pre-proposal stage, conducting gap analysis, preparing facility condition assessment reports, providing remedial cost estimates for projects, providing support in negotiation as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate process flow mapping in accordance to QMS framework for identified key processes for standardization and integration.
- Facilities condition inspection and condition assessment
- Develop project management plans
- Prepare project status reports
- Prepare project progress reports
- Preparation of risk analysis for projects
- Monitor and track of project schedule
- Implement project management plan as necessary
- Maintain liaison relationship with clients’ representatives as required
- Attend negotiation for services, resources on behalf of the organisation as necessary
- Asset management, work order planning and management using CMMS
- Provide support to team members
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Skill Set and Profile
- Ability to identify system effectiveness and compliance
- Understanding of QMS processes
- Understanding of results based project management, project monitoring and reporting
- Knowledge of monitoring strategies, approaches ad methodologies in general
- Skills in developing monitoring systems that include performance indicators. Skills in multilevel, multipurpose reporting and in the collation, interpretation and analysis of information
- Strong analytical skills- ability to analyse and synthesize lessons learnt from project monitoring and ability to incorporate these into planning for the next programme cycle
- Skills implementing quality standards and criteria in project monitoring and in conducting quality and assurance exercises
- Strong client orientation- ability to develop and maintain mutually productive working relationships with stakeholders
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports

Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Reports to: Site Manager
Role Summary
- The Electrician is responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialisation.

- Install, wire and connect electrical equipment and control system.

- Proffer effective solutions to identified or reported problems.
- Troubleshoot and detect faults correctly and readily proffer right solutions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment during and after work.
