We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Graphics Designer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Work directly with a Creative Director/ team on how best to execute an idea
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Present each graphics or visual expressions of designs to an art director or creative director
- Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
- Review designs for errors before it goes live
- Testing graphics across various media
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Advise and or suggest ideas to reach a particular audience
- Determine the style of design for each client from brief sent by client
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Select colours, images, text style and layout
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Requirements
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
