Job Title: Sales Representative
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Description
- Agridrive is looking to recruit two suitably qualified person tar the position of Soles Representatives for our agricultural inputs (agricultural equipment. mechanisation service provision, chemicals, fertilizers, seeds) business.
- This position will be based in the Head Office in Ibadan, Nigeria, but will be covering oil Agridrive markets in Oyo, Kwara. Ogun, Kogi, Osun, Niger and Delta and it expected to expand to other states.
- The job requires a qualified individual who has experience in agribusiness management, mechanisation, input systems, marketing and working with farmers in a commercial environment.
Overall Purpose
- Reporting to the Managing Director directly, the Sales Representatives ore to ensure increased sales of our products. Working with the Operations Officers, the duties will involve, but are not limited to:
- Creating and recommending specific agronomy programs to targeted accounts with the goal of increasing agronomy business. Spending time developing relationships with farmers to earn business,
- Establishing and maintaining effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of new products to build product and market knowledge and to add understanding and credibility of Agridrive Limited,
- Becoming a primary contact between customers and Agridrive Ltd including deliveries, forecasting, Credit, complaint handing, etc.
- Ensuring that federal and state regulations pertaining to agricultural equipment, chemicals and fertilizers are observed and adhered to.
- Identifying new key customers, understanding their business, determining their needs and developing plans and actions for soles growth.
- Receiving in bound calls directly from farmers to generate sales growth by answering basic market, product and service questions, and taking orders for equipment, inputs and mechanisation service provision.
- Implementing marketing and soles plans; establish and meet sales goals; and networking with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities.
- Participating in regular customer reviews and respond to customer concerns or requests with a benchmark of resolving non-complex issues within own control within 24 hours.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Business Management. Marketing or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience commercial sector providing agribusiness solutions to farmers.
- Experience in selling, demonstrating, and specializing in products related to farming and a thorough knowledge of the agricultural industry and sales are both essential for success in this role.
- Experience in using Customer Relations Systems and basic agronomic knowledge
