Job Title: Origination & Client Coverage Associate
Location: Nigeria
Job Responsibilities
- Driving profitability and meeting performance targets by developing the relationships, tactics and business plans necessary to realizing revenue, earnings growth and increase
- in shareholders’ value. Develop structured trade finance products, including off-balance sheet solutions for Receivables and Inventory
- Identify target market and develop strategy papers on market entry and relevance
- Oversee the development and evaluation of financial models with the capability to sensitize key inputs and stress test financial covenants.
Qualifications
- BA/BSc. required; MBA, CFA or other advanced degrees/credentials desirable
- 7+ years of relevant investment banking industry experience required
- Capital raising experience in public equity markets required.
Job Title: Trade Finance Analyst
Location: Nigeria
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and execute key supply chain finance solutions such as invoice/receivables discounting, securitized/collateralized debt and syndicated loans.
- Provide financial advisory services to identified clients using our trade finance and structured finance products.
- Review of credit applications and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Qualifications
- First degree or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution.
- Minimum of three (3) – five (5) years cognate experience in trade finance
- Appropriate post-graduate or professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, MSC in Finance, ACCA or ACA would be beneficial.
Job Title: Team Lead, Equity Capital Market
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head, Capital Markets in sourcing of clients, raising capital and providing counsel to all parties in an investment interchange.
- Analyse client’s equity portfolio and capital structure and assess alternative structures (funding strategies) to reduce the client’s cost of equity and/or increase its financial flexibility.
- Monitor and evaluate capital market conditions and make proposals for optimal financing vehicles.
- Prepare complex quantitative analysis, create pricing models and evaluate strategies/alternatives in support of the issuance of long term debt and/or equity.
- Coordinate the end-to-end capital raising process (public offers, private placements, commercial papers etc) from the preparation of offer documents to the collation of returns/allotments.
Qualifications
- First degree or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years cognate experience.
- Appropriate post-graduate or professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, MSC in Finance or ACA would be beneficial.
Job Title: Francophone Associate
Location: Nigeria
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for charge of the business development of these key areas in African Francophone countries. Also he/she will assist the management of United Capital to set up an office in Senegal to cover African Francophone activities.
- Originating and executing Investment Banking mandates across Africa with an emphasis on French speaking countries.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, due diligence and valuation to develop business case for potential investment projects.
- Desktop analysis of businesses (financials, markets, products, competitors) and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting,Banking or other Finance related discipline from a reputable university with a minimum qualification of a second class degree required. Additional professional qualification or a Masters will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 6 years in a similar capacity within a Financial Services environment.
Job Title: Senior Analyst, Capital Market
Location: Lagos

Job Description
- Reporting directly to the MD, Investment Banking, you will provide specialist advisory services on Capital Markets, Divestitures, Privatizations, Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances, Capital Raising, Corporate Restructuring Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions amongst others.
