Overall Purpose

- The Project Coordinator North (who will sit in AAN Abuja office) will be responsible for project implementation in three project states of Bauchi, kano and Kwara, as well as support interventions at the national level while the Project Coordinator South (who will sit in AAN Lagos office) will be responsible for project implementation in Lagos, Cross Rivers and Enugu States.

- Work with the WVL Project team in conducting Partnership Assessment Model of Local Women’s Rights Organisations (LWROs), networks and movements in project states

- Support and build a strong, active movement of Civil Society Groups to strengthen, expand and support the teaching profession and ensure sustainable financing of teacher salaries.

- Promote Public education policies, systems and support the reversal of privatisation of education (where evidence shows that privatisation has led to an undermining of equity for girls, minority groups and children with disabilities).
- Promote progressive tax system nationally through campaigning for tax justice or fair taxation as means of mobilizing resources internally to fund public education in Lagos and Sokoto states
