Job Title: Marketing Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Context and Environment

  • A new Party Items and Venue Rental Company with operations in Lekki area of Lagos State poised to make a difference in clients’ satisfaction through services rendered with a touch of superior quality and professional excellence that caters for small and big events. The job involves regular contacts with existing and potential customers through visits and phone calls.

General Responsibilities

  • This position exists to ensure:
  • Achievement of sales target – party items and venue rental – in terms of frequency and margin;
  • Regular feedback report on competition in terms of pricing and marketing strategies;
  • Aggressive drive for new customers and retention of existing ones;

Activities:

  • Sell company party items and venue rental services at approved prices
  • Achieve agreed sales target in terms of frequency and margin
  • Create and maintain data base for all customers (prospective customers, new and past customers) for follow up actions
  • Attend conferences, seminars, workshops and other networking events to establish relationship with potential customers
  • Develop relationship with potential customer organisations for – conferences, seminars, end of year party, annual general meeting, send-off party etc.
  • Develop relationship with potential individual customers through relevant contacts for – wedding reception, birthday party, traditional wedding/engagement etc.
  • Provide honest feedback on customers’ perceptions of company’s products and services for necessary action to maximize customer retention.
  • Prepare and update intelligence report on competition, including pricing and marketing strategies for management decisions
  • Prepare Sales and performance report monthly and compare with budget.
  • Ensure that all policies aimed at sales improvement and target realization are observed.
  • Liaise with Customer Relation Officers to ensure prompt order processing and relevant documentation for effective service delivery
  • Identify market changing needs and report to the Business Development Manager
  • Carry out any other job which may be assigned by management

Accountabilities:

  • Monthly summary of sales – party items and venue rentals
  • File of all customers – prospective, new and past
  • Monthly report of prospecting activities
  • Feedback report on customer’s perceptions after every event
  • Competition analysis report
  • Monthly activity report – successes and challenges

Qualifications/Experience

  • First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least two years’ sales experience. Experience in events management or entertainment will be an advantage

Job Title: Customer Relations Executive

General Responsibilities
This position exists to ensure:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Type: Full Time
Supervision Received: Venue Manager

Tasks

  • Conduct regular facility inspections and document observations that require management attention
  • Develop and implement pre-emptive maintenance schedule for various equipment and assets to minimize disruptions of operations and events
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of company premises, assets and equipment
  • Ensure that Party items, including chairs and tables, are always in good condition
  • Develop relationships with maintenance technicians and contractors that can be called at short notice to attend to maintenance and repair needs
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of premises, assets and equipment
  • Plan and implement appropriate maintenance schedule for generators and air-conditioners based on their usage to avoid disruption during events
  • Co-ordinate company activities to ensure environmental health and safety
  • Review maintenance contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
  • Act promptly on requests and complaints about short comings of facility performance
  • Develop alternative plan of action in case of unexpected failure or breakdown of facility equipment and assets
  • Work with Venue Manager to make plan for future replacement, repairs and upgrade of assets and equipment for management’s consideration
  • Prepare facility performance report after every major event
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

  • The candidate for this position should have multi-disciplinary expertise with a minimum of Nation Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
  • Two years mechanical and/electrical maintenance experience

Job Title: Business Development Executive

General Responsibility

  • This position exists to plan, develop, coordinate and implement strategies to (1) acquire new clients (2) grow the company’s business with existing clients, and (3) identify and evaluate relevant new business opportunities

Activities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plan for both party items and venue rental businesses of the company
  • Develop and implement strategy to ensure sustainable rapport with existing and potential clients to increase sales and build customer loyalty
  • Lead the marketing team to identify and evaluate new clients, develop and implement strategic sales plan to reach out to them.
  • Research organizations and individuals (including use of social media) to identify new sales leads and potential new clients
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives and growth opportunities
  • Prepare bespoke proposals and quotes for potential clients using micro-soft office tools
  • Prepare/update company brochure and other marketing materials for the company’s businesses
  • Create, build and develop a portfolio of clients and lead the sales strategy for the company.

Qualifications/Experience
