Role Summary
- As a key member of the senior management staff for WCA/FSSA reporting into the GEHC General Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the origination, structuring and execution (through to orders/sales and cash collection) of projects in the private & public sectors as well as under PPP / MES type schemes including wide-scale healthcare transformation and mega-modernization programs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Previous experience selling GEHC Solutions (Equipment, Education & service)
- Experience building frameworks and metrics to track outcomes from care pathway solutions
- Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
- Proven ability to work globally
- High level of understanding of regional government decision-making process and procedures
- Proven project management experience in emerging market environments
- Proven commercial success in the West, Central & French Sub Saharan Africa region
- A professional, who is able to set priorities and milestones with stakeholders and prioritize
- Healthcare experience in a program management environment
- Ability to monitor and manage stakeholder activities and investments
- Deep awareness and understanding of the Healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered
- Demonstrated ability to think and lead on a strategic level within a complex organization
- Deep knowledge of GEHC and the products and services offered
- In Nigeria: a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
- In Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
- In countries other than Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.

Essential Responsibilities
- Leverage current GE government/institution’s relations to establish strong relationships with healthcare authorities
- Work proactively with the Public & The Public Private Programs to ensure GE Wins in this space
- Lead the customer’s account relationship including establish regular operating rhythm, organize and lead customer management committee meetings, identify marketing and promotional and create performance dashboards as well as initiate strategic discussions
- Work seamlessly with the LCT GM and team
- Forecast sales opportunities and execute sales strategy to ensure that growth and profitability are achieved/exceeded
- Act as the “One GE Healthcare” face in front of the customer and coordinate all GE stakeholders for the projects she/ he is responsible for from inception to closure
- Leverage GE government relations & GE Ecosystem to establish strong relationships with healthcare authorities and financing institutions personnel
- Partner with the HPM and Execution organization at all times and in advance to ensure that the project is originated with solid execution and capability in mind & planned from the outset
- Fully understand the breadth of the relevant product offering to represent the full spectrum of available structures
- Managing the Sales process, identifying and executing simplification initiatives, driving market share and working with all other departments (price, structure & close) larger strategic accounts
- Engage closely with GTM teams in the Africa to help engage in meaningful dialogues with customers, position the value around care areas and drive collaborative and co-creative approach to solution generation
- Act as the One GE face in front of the customer and coordinate all GE stakeholders for the projects she/he is responsible for from inception to closure
- Work closely with the Project and the Region Sales team to develop partnerships with local companies that enhance GE Healthcare offering and delivery capabilities for hospital projects (eg. local suppliers, construction and engineering companies, consultants, architects and packagers)
- Drive partnerships with regional hospital projects stakeholders (suppliers, architects, construction companies.
