Sabroso Food Company Limited – We are a beverage manufacturing company, in 2017 we changed our sourcing strategy from importation of 100% of our “fruit” raw materials to 100% localization by 2020.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sourcing Officer – Raw Materials (Fruits)
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Signup new farms and farmers on to the Sabroso farmers partnership agreement
- He or She will be responsible for coordinating the materials department, manage the efficient flow of our “fresh fruit” raw materials needed for our production processes.
- He or She will regularly meet with farmers across various regions in Nigeria, to secure the short & long term purchase of the fruits needed.
- Coordinate the smooth logistics & delivery of fruits from the farm to the factory
- Travel frequently and work with local farms and farmers towards a mutually beneficial partnership
- Ensure procurement quality and costs KPIs are met always
- Source and negotiate the best rates of fruits for the company on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of the relevant software.
- HND or B.Sc Degree
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and related processes, including customer shipping requirements, production scheduling and raw materials.
