Job Title: Quantity Surveyor, NYSC

Location: Lagos
Job Functions: Civil Engineering and Construction, Building Technology and Engineering Designs.

Responsibilities
Required competencies for this job include:

  • GPS, geodetic and satellite surveying
  • Applicable surveying procedures, standards and instruments
  • Automated survey systems
  • Applicable boundary laws, rules and regulations.
  • Legal research methods
  • Reading and interpreting applicable plans, schematics, blueprints and maps
  • The use of surveying tools, equipment and instruments
  • Planning, coordinating and handling multiple projects within area of responsibility to meet short and long term deadlines
  • Leading, assigning, reviewing and monitoring the work of others

Job Title: HR Intern

Location: Lagos
Job Functions: Civil Engineering and Construction, Building Technology and Engineering Designs.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the HR Operations/Admin Manager, you will provide support in all human resource functions.
  • You will provide support to supervisors and staff
  • You will provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations and identify training and development opportunities.
  • The role involves development and implementation of strategies and policies and will include key responsibilities such as:
    • Assist in the recruitment process and hiring of all employees
    • Participate in the preparation of all Human Resources activities
    • Maintain an up to date database for resume’s for future facilitation of recruitment needs
    • Assist in induction/orientation program for all newly joined employees as per the hotel standards
    • Receive employee complaints, suggestions and queries and make sure they have been handled properly
    • Maintain an up to date computerised database of all employees, clients and vendors
    • Assist the HR Operations/Admin Manager in the preparation of periodic reports as required
    • Coordinate with all departments with regard to Human Resources related activities
    • Maintain files and other information under strict confidentiality
    • Carried out other duties as assigned by the HR Operations/Admin Manager

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources

Job Duties

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Maintain a fully stocked store and manage point-of-sale processes
  • Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
  • Recommend and display items that match customer needs Welcome and greet customers
  • Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments Keep up to date with product information
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits by providing information on products.
  • Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
  • Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • SSCE/OND ONLY
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Advertising & Marketing roles
