Job Title: Operations Intern
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time
The Role
- The intern will support the Operations teams assisting in efficient and effective delivery of procurement services and efficient inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating Request for Quotation (RFQ) templates, sending out the RFQs to vendors/suppliers to get prices
- Searching and engaging new suppliers and qualifying them using GLP approved requirements
- Using price comparison and other qualitative factors such as delivery times and quality to select winning suppliers, to ensure GLP is getting the best price for the best quality goods at the right time.
- Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) for products and services to selected vendors
- Creating and maintaining reports reflecting recurring purchases as well as the prices
- Keeping abreast of changes in the market that could affect pricing of goods and services. This should be well documented and communicated to internal stake holders.
- Collecting invoice from vendor after confirming all goods or services have been delivered to meet quality expectations or Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Processing vendor payment with finance
Requirements
The ideal Operations Intern:
- Has effective communication and negotiation skills
- Possesses intuitive skills; knows when to initiate a backup supplier
- Is able to make quick and objective decisions
- Has excellent computer skills: Excel, Word e.t.c.

Job Title: HR & Admin Associate

The Role
- The HR and Administration Associate will work closely with the HR team based in Lagos to ensure the organization has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities for the Role
- Creating personal files for all staff and making sure they are up to date
- Managing office stationary and provisions
- Assisting in managing the use of meeting rooms
- Dropping and picking up couriers for the office
- Assisting with recruitment activities – scheduling interviews (calls and email correspondence) for selected positions
- Photo-copying and filing as required
- Coordinating new hire orientations and issuance of joiners’ kit
- Reviewing new hire paperwork for accuracy and compliancy
- Delivering excellent information through weekly and/or monthly HR reports
- Actively participating in HR projects aimed towards delivering the HR agenda
The ideal HR & Admin Associate
- Has 2-3 years of HR generalist experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management
- Must be Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Has effective communication skills with excellent planning and project management ability
- Is excited about joining a fast growing, entrepreneurial and innovative environment with an opportunity to build teams, local HR practices and policies
- Is a solutions-oriented self-starter; comfortable taking on substantial work with limited oversight
- Must be able to work under pressure with strict deadlines and with minimal or no supervision.
