Job Title: Information Communication & Technology Officer
Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2019-016
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)
Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Initiate and manage the project’s technology infrastructure including implementation and management of the software applications and hardware infrastructure that support operations;
- Support the recruitment of trainees using the online platform;
- Create and maintain the database of trained youths;
- Develop ICT solutions to support project implementation and agri-business startups using ICT tools to participate in project implementation;
- Update and maintain the ICT equipment inventory;
- Perform needs assessment for new applications and modifications to existing ones;
- Capacity development to improve digital skills of project beneficiaries on computer software and ICT systems;
- Assist with preparation of operating budgets based on estimated and actual expenditures for ICT systems and support needs;
- Update of the Youth in Agribusiness website to accommodate information on the project;
- Assist in the compilation of reports for meetings, trainings and project activities;
- Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification
- B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Statistics or related field with minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar or related roles.
Competencies
The ideal candidate must:
- Have experience in developing ICT related tools for promoting agribusiness;
- Have experience in capturing events and reporting agribusiness related activities;
- Have good working knowledge of MS Office packages
- Have ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural environment;
- Have excellent oral and writing communication skills.

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Coordinate the day to day implementation of the Youth employment in Agribusiness and sustainable agriculture project;
- Support the development of young Agripreneurs through demonstration and training in close collaboration with all program actors;
- Facilitate the implementation of the project activities in all target locations and participate in the monitoring of progress made towards achieving the project set goals and objectives;
- Establish good linkages with the project partners to ensure adequate implementation of the project;
- Ensure that quarterly and annually consolidated technical and financial reports for the project are prepared and submitted on schedule;
- Present activities, results, impacts and outcomes of the project at professional, donor and other stakeholders’ meeting.
- Support with the identification and screening of sites for training and entrepreneur incubation;
- Monitor and manage project resources including financial resources;
- Support the Youth in Agribusiness Office on training and incubation related activities;
- Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- BSc/HND in Crop Production, Agriculture or related field with minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar or related roles.
Competencies
The ideal candidate must:
- Have experience on project coordination with stakeholder engagement;
- Have experience of community or rural development approach;
- Have experience in market sector, Agribusiness, Civil Society Organization to maximize participation in publicity of the pilot;
- Have Organizational, Planning and Budget management experience;
- Have ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural environment;
- Have excellent project management, interpersonal and team building skills.

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Assist in all HR system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the Information Technology Unit;
- Assist in the development and maintenance of application and database to automate specific HR process;
- Input and update existing and new staff data into information system;
- Maintain data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing and cleansing data;
- Assist in providing day-to day technical support to HR staff and other HR Information System users;
- Develop concepts, graphics and layout for print products;
- Contribute to overall HR goals by carrying out task as may be directed by supervisor.
Qualification
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Statistics or related field with minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar or related roles.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
