Cuanu Pharmacy, a new pharmacy in GRA, Benin City, Edo State, the pharmacy is a patient/client- centeredpractice and it offers new perspectives in community pharmacy. The pharmacy is located in a clean and safe neighbourhood, and it offers an opportunity for career development and advancement.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Benin City, Edo

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Be familiar with stocks
• Count and label medications
• Greet clients and deliver quality customer service, respond to basic inquiries/questions and refer patients to the pharmacist
• Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times
• Perform and monitor inventory management, both behind the counter and in the general pharmacy area
• Respond to customer request for medications, medical equipment and consumables, and consumers’ goods
• Respond to phone calls in a professional manner
• Assist in organizing and shelving medicines and other goods
• Assist the Administrator/Accountant in performing various administrative duties (filing, copying, etc), inventory management and transactions, as needed
• Undertake other duties as may be assigned

Qualification

• Posses the necessary qualification recognized by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria

Skills

• Pleasant personality with good customer service and interpersonal relationship
• Good oral and written communication skills, problem solving,  and good team player
• Self-motivated and good attitude to work, flexible and organized
• Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times
• Ability to use computer for daily operations is essential but not mandatory
• Basic math skills for counting medications
• Customer service experience
• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
