Job Title: Spa Accountant

Job Description
- Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts.
- Prepare allocation tables for indirect expenses and revenue items as needed.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and process payroll and deductions schedules.
- Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for: accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll.
- Review open invoice reports and follow up with a schedule of payments or adjustments.
- Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
- Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates.
Qualifications
- A minimum of B.Sc in Business Administration, Accounting and other related discipline.
- Any relevant certificate would be an advantage
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, especially in the hospitality industry

Job Description

- Develop and maintain adequate professional product program
- Ensure all dealings with guests at the spa to meet or exceed set operating standards.
- Ensure all areas of the Spa are kept clean and well maintained at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation governing the operation of a Spa facility.
- Ensure the guest experience is relaxing and in accordance with the spa’s standards.
- Ensure the health and safety of guests and employees are paramount at all times.
- Ensure consistent Spa experience development to ensure that innovation and uniqueness is maintained.
- Ensure proper inventories of all operating Spa equipment are conducted in line with audit standards in order to effectively manage operational cost.
- Ensure that the Spa team adhere to all company operational and service standards.
- Ensure that spa department follows business conduct and ethics.
- Ensure that the spa follows policies and procedures including health, hygiene, emergency and Fire prevention.

- Hold regular staff meetings to keep staff up to date on all aspects of the Spa’s operation.
- Gather information and remain fully informed of local and international trends in Spa operations.
- Perform a regular inventory of Spa par levels for retail and operational stocks.
- Raise store requisitions of all retail and operational items as and when required.
- Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with management experience, Business Administration or Degree / Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 year’s experience as a Spa Manager in a luxury hotel or a well established SPA brand. Alternatively, in the hospitality industry.
Skill Set:

- Willing to deliver the best service and experience to our guests.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
