Job Title: Senior Supervisor (Quantity Surveying)
Location: Rivers
Start date: 1st July, 2019.
Job Descriptions
- This position will be responsible for the overall QS requirements of the project, including cost estimation, project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payment and settlement of final accounts as well as maintaining proper documentation.
- The Senior Quantity Surveyor also leads a small team of junior Quantity Surveyors.
- The Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company’s objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Quantity Surveying. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
- Membership of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors is compulsory.
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communications skills.
- Good interpersonal relationship management.
Job Title: Facility Manager (Quantity Surveyor)
Location: Rivers
Summary of the Role
- This position manage the costs on a construction project.
- They help to ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget.
- You will support the Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company’s objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
- Membership of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors is compulsory.

Job Title: Facility Manager, Maintenance
Location: Rivers
Summary of the Role
- This position is responsible for assessing how successfully processes have been implemented, for judging the effectiveness of any achieved defined target levels, driving special projects, Inspecting site at pre- proposal stage, conducting a gap analysis , preparing facility condition assessment reports, providing remedial cost estimates for projects, providing support in negotiation as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc/HND in any of the following courses: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering/Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Quantity Surveying, and Estate Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
- Ability to identify systems effectiveness and compliance
- Understanding of results based project management , project monitoring and reporting
- Knowledge of monitoring strategies, approaches and methodologies in general
- Skills in developing monitoring systems that include performance indicators. Skills in multilevel, multipurpose reporting and in the collation, interpretation and analysis of information.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyse and synthesize lessons learned from project monitoring and ability to incorporate these into planning for the next programme cycle.
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal relationship management.
Job Title: Facility Manager, Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Location: Rivers
Summary of the Role
- The work with regulators, customers and staff to set objectives that will work for all the stakeholders in the business.
- The ultimate goal is to implement a QMS policy that meets international industry standards and ensure that it is followed by every employee and stakeholder using the system
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in any of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering/ Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
- Membership of a relevant professional quality assurance body
- Knowledge in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence others and build credible relationships.
- Ability to exercise a degree of flexibility within a fast moving environment.

Job Title: HSE Advisor
Location: Rivers
Summary of the Role
- This position supports the project to meet the requirements of the Safety Quality and Environment Management systems.
- The role will also involve assisting the site teams and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining and improving the health, safety, environmental and Quality standards.
- You will champion QHSE initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate/Construction and Oil&Gas Industry
- Professional HSE certification (e.g. ISPON, NEBOSH certificate, etc.) is compulsory.
- Good knowledge of International Safety standards, e.g. OSHA and standard safety practice.
- Strong Knowledge on the use of English
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal relationship management.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills Client facing experience
- Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations.
