AMG Logistics (Nigeria) Limited was founded on 2nd of April 2014 in Lagos.  It is a logistics company that offers a full range of services with the main goal to have a company that clients trust and who works with integrity and honesty from the core base of the company.

We are inviting applications from interested/qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Proactive with sales, updating all our websites
• Handling all marketing for the company
• Sustaining information by making regular visitations, communicating job expectations
• Planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing contributions of the employees in Sales and Marketing Department
• To engaging in day to day of the sales team to ensure that they are on track for activities
• Ensuring the sales team updates all key persons involved in operations, customers service with all appropriate data
• To oversee all marketing activities and ensure it fits with the marketing strategy
• Managing the company’s social accounts and posting relevant contents: update website / social networks (newsletter etc.
• Updating the sites with information and also updating twitter
• Attending meetings with customers
• Improving the company’s visibility on the internet
• Updating the company’s software-Cargowise (Cw1).

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
• Experience of working in a Clearing and Forwarding company in same position as Sales and Marketing Officer will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• Extremely good communication skills
• Ability to work on websites/Linkedln/twitter
• Candidate must be strong with using all company’s social media and Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Vislo and Power Point
• Must have listening skills
• Confident, patient and polite
• Ability to work under pressure
• Highly motivated candidate with a genuine drive to succeed.
