Foodlocker offers procurement efficiency, affordability, convenience, and pricing regularity to diverse buyers of farm-fresh foodstuff and grocery items by aggregating the outputs of smallholder farmers and fast-moving consumer goods companies and selling them directly to our customers via our unique omni-channel retail operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Application Developer

Location: Oyo

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or any analytical discipline (Mathematics, Physics, etc)
• Any technical certifications from Google, NIIT, etc.

Competencies/Attributes:

• FullStack Web or Mobile App Developer – can build from scratch – PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML5
• For Mobile, has at least 1 app already accessible on the app stores
• For Web, has built a number of web but mobile-ready apps that are fully-functional
• Highly analytical, curious, and willing to learn new things
• Has demonstrated integrity and ability to work very hard
• Has the ability to lead a team
• Willing to work and live in Ibadan and willing to work on-site
• Has affinity for the Agricultural Sector, Retail, eCommerce or Food Value Chains.

Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Oyo

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or any analytical discipline (Mathematics, Physics, etc)
• Any technical certifications from Google, NIIT, DSN, etc

Competencies/Attributes:

• Experience of running predictive algorithms
• Experience of running optimization algorithms
• Experience of running projects on machine learning
• Highly analytical, curious, and willing to learn new things
• Has demonstrated integrity and ability to work very hard
• Has the ability to lead a team
• Willing to work and live in Ibadan and willing to work on-site
• Has affinity for the Agricultural Sector, Retail, eCommerce or Food Value Chains

Remuneration
For the right candidates, early leadership opportunities will be provided. Remuneration is attractive and comes with equity upside. International trips are also included.
