Job Title: Sports Marketing Specialist
Location: Lagos

Job Description
Areas that play to your strengths (all the responsibilities we’ll trust you with)
Start and Grow a Highly Credible Athletes Program:
Build the foundations of a highly effective Sports program in conjunction with the Marketing Manager by:
- Identifying and engaging relevant national sports personalities with a perfect brand fit and optimise impact and efficiency via professional target setting and management
- On-going optimization of these co-operations.
- Developing personalised packages which include performance, marketing and communication to service each individual personality
Global Campaign & National Events Planning & Execution:
Utilise strong local insights and context to offer compelling consumer experience to participants & spectators and create unique media content in the:
- Planning, management and execution of Global Campaigns such as Red Bull Neymar JRs Five and Red Bull Reign
- Design, development and execution of outstanding local national events which are strongly rooted in the most relevant local playgrounds
Cross Program Execution:
Focus on functionality to drive brand differentiation by:
- Establishing Red Bull as a credible functional beverage in the national sports landscape (sport scenes, opinion leaders, sport industry, agencies, media, federations, authorities etc.)
- Raising the daily usage/sales on a broad scale
Athlete Management:
Develop Red Bull Nigeria’s image and position as an innovative brand in Sports by:
- Maximising the usage of Red Bull’s global athletes and event portfolio by using international Red Bull athletes to increase local awareness & appeal and exposing national roles (Red Bull athletes or other) to global Red Bull activities
Branding and Communication:
Build and grow engagement to reach more people, more often and for longer by:
- Working with the Media Network Manager to design and contribute to unique stories, interesting topics, new formats and top media content
- Managing the Red Bull brand appearance at national sport program in line with international benchmarks and guidelines.managing all Sport related information & data on internal platforms
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Sports Marketing or Business Administration/Management
- Ability to service and manage athletes based on sportive performance, marketing and communication facts.
- Able to pursue a global company vision.
- Independent, Self-Motivated, Impeccable Interpersonal and Team skills.
- Creative, innovative, open-minded, sporty, motivated, capable of working in a team.
- Degree in Marketing, Sports Marketing or Business Administration/Management
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- A minimum of 3 years work experience within the Sports Industry, Events or Marketing Agency, Sport institution or Federation, PR agency or as a professional athlete or trainer.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a must.
- Ability to design and organise events and projects of all scales.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
